ABOUT
StudyBoost is an independent learning support practice based in Johannesburg. We offer practical courses in study skills for learners from Grade 4 to Grade 12. We create a focus on providing students with practical study tools in order to empower them to develop independence & confidence in academics. We also offer Phono-Graphix reading therapy.
Lessons, courses and workshops can be held privately or at schools for teachers, learners or parents. Private workshops (individual or small groups) can also be arranged at venues nationwide. Regular revision courses ensure that skills are maintained amongst learners & creates a sphere of success with regular attention to heightening these abilities to learn.

STUDYBOOST FACILITATOR
Liza has a passion for children. She trained in England as a child minder & worked in the industry for over 9 years. Her love, patience & experience within this sphere, as well as for children, is evident in her teachings of Study Skills & Comprehension Skills. She is a valuable StudyBoost Facilitator, as her ability within this field is undeniable & has created many avenues in which the children she facilitates have flourished positively. During her 'off-time' she administers the accommodation for SIM (Serving in Missions) International Missions Organization.

Giovanna has worked in IT training & support for over 10 years. She has also had numerous years of experience in Student Training within this sphere. She has taught 'Biblical Studies' for 5 years at a private school. She has good & credible experience with children & helping them with regards to understanding their provided content through StudyBoost study techniques. This has become especially beneficial to children who have difficulty in general with studying & applying the methods that are critical to learning.
She has discovered through her own children's educational experiences that the most simple & practical methods of learning & studying can be perfected in order to aid learners on a personal level. She guides children in their educational journey by implementing StudyBoost memory skills that are easy to follow & understand.
She is a qualified Phono-Graphix Reading Therapist and RAV-O Trained Member that is currently working at various schools assisting pupils with Reading, Comprehension & Study Skills.
Roxy is a qualified teacher. Her love for teaching is one of our best assets at StudyBoost. During her years of teaching she came across many pupils who were unprepared & lacked knowledge, as well as the basic understanding, of study skills and how to absorb information and create understanding. As a result, Roxy has brought great value as a facilitator for both Study Skills & Comprehension Skills to the StudyBoost team. She has ensured that many students have become better learners & given them the confidence necessary to succeed. She tutors privately, as well as home school pupils when not facilitating for StudyBoost.
